Medion/Quigg Handheld Vacuum Cleaner 'Armadillo'

Design for a handheld vacuum cleaner.
For this project, I decided to approach the formfactor of this humble household item with a fresh approach and look for inspiration at the animal kingdom. The handheld vacuum cleaner absorbs impurities, in a same way that the armadillo eats ants.
The vent hole detail combined with the concave locality of the grip lend a distinctive feature on the product.
My role in this project: Design from sketch to ODM production, cmf design.
